"why seward?"
Today in history.....
On April 14, 1865, also Good Friday, Abraham Lincoln was shot and William Seward was stabbed, nearly fatally.
You, too, may have asked, "Why Seward?". Well, ask no more.
(Come, on, you know you see the family resemblance.)

that was the seward family fortitude that got ole uncle bill through his stabbing . . . lincoln couldn't even survive a little gunshot . . .
And he doesn't get enough press about it either. I mean, if Dean Rusk had been stabbed on November 22, 1964, we'd all still be talking about it.
